Seeing Noah with his buddy yesterday made me think....it is never too early to have friends!

I came across this picture of Alex and me....

 The moment I saw this picture I quickly felt my heart swell with gratitude. God healed my body during pregnancy so that I could have this miracle baby.  

He is very analytical which is great because finds new angles to what we are saying or how to do something.   He is always creating and thinking....although it sometimes makes it hard for him  to pretend with Noah, who is very imaginative! 

Alex is a constant reminder of God's power in our life!

Pistachios

 My husband is fortunate to be able to work from home twice a week....he gets to hang out with us!  I am really the one that enjoys having him home twice a week the most! Yesterday without planning it there was this special moment he had with the kids.

 It was heart warming to see them try pistachios for the first time, to see my husband take time to teach them how to split apart the shell while working. Many times I pray that I can  give the kids a memorable, special childhood.  A childhood that they will look back on with fondness. 

  It is the small things that can make some great memories like pistachios.

I love sharing my life with my family, we end up doing everything together.  Not only are we family but we do life together.  I am proud to be the oldest of 4 sisters and 1 younger brother.

For the past years my husband and I have not had the kind of summer we are having as either we worked at Discovery Camp or we did not have school age kids.  With this being our "first Summer" since Alex graduated to First grade we are having loads of water fun!  They seem to want to play with water everyday.....

My sister and brother law are having their first baby girl so we took some pregnancy pictures this weekend.  There is a bit of a nostalgic feel as this brings me back to my first pregnancy.  I am excited, thrilled and full of joy to soon hold this precious baby girl....
